One of Jacksonville’s best kept secrets: If you are looking for a home in Jacksonville, FL, be sure to visit Hidden Hills Country Club Estates (HHCCE). It’s an active, beautiful, peaceful community, and neighbors are friendly. Regardless of your age, family size, or desire to play golf, you find others who share your interests. Most daylight hours, the streets are filled with joggers, walkers, bicyclists, baby strollers and more. And it’s not unusual to see cars leaving the community with boats-in-tow headed for a day on the nearby St. John’s River, and golf carts heading for next door Hidden Hills Golf Club. There are several active book clubs and bridge clubs, and monthly, a women’s group meets for lunch at Matt’s Italian Restaurant to get acquainted and catch up.

Location, Size and Nearby Amenities: HHCCE is a gated community of 550 homes centrally located within Jacksonville -- just twenty minutes from the beach, downtown and the airport. We are adjacent to Hidden Hills Golf Club, a mile from Fort Caroline State Park, and a quarter mile from Ed Austin Park, which offers large and small dog parks, sports fields, a track, a skateboard park and a senior center.

Homes: Our houses range in size from large six-bedroom family homes to two- and three-bedroom executive homes on Masters Ridge Drive. It’s not unusual for homeowners to raise their families in a larger house and then downsize to one of the executive homes so they can remain in the neighborhood.

Golf Cart Usage: Golf carts are commonly seen throughout the community. HHCCE owns the roads within our gates, allowing residents to drive golf carts to and from the golf course or to travel to various points within the neighborhood.

Boat and RV Storage: If you own a boat or an RV, HHCCE offers residents on-site storage spaces for just $35-$45 per month, depending on the size spot you need.

Recreation Center and Entertainment: At our neighborhood recreation center, children enjoy the playground equipment, basketball and volleyball courts, and wide-open spaces where they can practice soccer, toss a ball or throw a frisbee. This is also the location for many community events, such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Fling, Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and costume contest, and Christmas bonfire and movie night. During the holidays, we also traditionally partner with Hidden Hills Golf Club to host a gingerbread house decorating party and an opportunity for the children to see Santa Claus.

Communication: Always endeavoring to keep homeowners in-the-know, residents are kept abreast of neighborhood news, upcoming events and need-to-know information through our monthly We Live Here! newsletter, e-mail blasts, and a lighted sign board at the front gate. There is also a Hidden Hills Country Club Estates Facebook page used by neighbors-only to buy and sell items, announce lost and found pets, share stories, pictures and upcoming events, and more.

Shopping: Publix, Starbucks, Wawa, and fast food and sit-down restaurants are available within a mile, making it easy to pick-up last-minute grocery needs, morning coffee, fill-up your car or grab a meal, depending on your needs.
